Benji
Please consider opening your heart and home to this great guy.
The sweetest, most adorable black pittie. Benji is a 3-year-old, 67 lb. pit bull who was saved from a high kill shelter in California just in the nick of time! He is easy to handle and well-mannered. Benji has potential to do well with other dogs with proper introductions but would also thrive in a home with no other dogs. Benji would not do well in a home with cats.
Benji deserves a loving foster or adoptive home! He is an incredibly sweet boy, he loves to play, loves toys and LOVES to cuddle. He needs to be an only dog or needs a family willing and able to give him time to decompress from shelter life by keeping him separate from their existing pack for a couple of weeks. Benji is now patiently waiting to find his forever home where he can continue to heal and thrive in a loving, structured environment.
Can you open your home to this handsome man?

Toby
Toby has truly blossomed into a happy, eager-to-please companion. With his regal demeanor and loving personality, Toby is a smart and cuddly dog who shows deep respect for his caregivers. Now, he’s ready to settle into his well-earned retirement home. While we're unsure how he would do with small dogs or cats, he does well with large, calm dogs. Slow introductions are required. Toby has been fully vetted, including a comprehensive wellness exam with bloodwork, which has shown him to be a healthy senior dog. Our best guess is that Toby is between 8 and 10 years old.
Toby is looking for a home where he can continue to thrive — could that be with you?

Maxx
Reintroducing Maxx!
Some may remember his story. He was the young pup suffering from pneumonia in the Downey shelter back in May. His post caught a lot of attention because he was curled in a ball, sleeping in his own feces on the cement floor, struggling to breathe. He was near euthanasia due to being in an overcrowded shelter with minimal resources.
Fortunately, we were approved to tag him and bring him into our organization! As much attention as his post received, we only received one serious inquiry for a temp Los Angeles foster. They made all of the difference for Maxx's life and death situation.
While it took a couple of months, he eventually recovered from pneumonia in his temp Los Angeles foster home (multiple trips to the vet were needed), and then finally, he made his way to Idaho in June.
Maxx has been under the radar for the last several months because he was on a trial to adopt program, but it was recently agreed that Maxx needs a more active home with a large backyard.
He's another one of our outliers, just a little over a year old and has such great potential to be a well-trained dog. He's still learning, but has proven to be an excellent student. We are grateful for @lifelongdogstraining's time and assistance in helping us with Maxx's training.

Paloma
Paloma is available!
Paloma is a happy girl here in her favorite spot at her foster home, keeping track of the neighborhood with the steadfast assist of her favorite toys in the window!
This beautiful approximately 10-year-old girl still has the heart (and energy!) of a puppy. She loves squeaky toys, chasing squirrels, and going on walks—but she’s just as happy to curl up beside you for a cozy nap on the couch.
She’s a people-loving shadow dog who just wants to be by your side, whether it’s playtime, training time, or relaxation time. She’s potty trained, knows her basic commands, and adores showing off her tricks—she’s a fast learner who thrives on praise and attention.
Miss Paloma is looking for her forever family to share life’s joys with.
Would you consider opening your heart and home to Paloma?
